Ermela Teli was born in 1981 in Tirana, from an Albanian father Ismet Teli (marine) and to an Albanian mother Eglantina Teli (chemist). She lives in Switzerland. Married to David Lipka, sound engineer. Ermela Teli, received, Degree in Theater in 2004 and Master of science in Film and Tv in 2015 at the University of Arts Tirana-Albania. Further training in documentary production and theory of cinema. Actress in movies and theater production, since 1999. 2008-2014, she worked at National Theater of Albania. Since 2009 Ermela Teli, as film director produces her movies /documentaries and video audio installations. Her works focus on the mental social experience, the conscience of a human and society.
