EndEcocide
Eco-cide derives from the Greek oikos meaning house or home and the Latin caedere meaning strike down, demolish, kill. It literally translates to killing our home.
As a group of citizens, we have proposed a law to the European Union to make ecocide a crime. However, we cannot make this happen alone. We need your vote for the EU to consider our proposal. Make use of your legal right to participate in policy making by voting to end ecocide.
Why we need the law of ecocide:
Embrace a holistic approach to nature (as opposed to current legislation where only individual elements of the environment are protected, such as fauna and flora, soil, etc, but not entire ecosystems):
