Dj Elijah is a beginning Dancehall Deejay from Ghent who brings you the new mash up riddims and hardcore reggae tunes!

Elijah (real name Ilja) was born with the reggae vibes in his blood by his mother. During her pregnancy she played bass guitar in a reggae band.
As a young boy he created (next to the reggae vibes) a big love for underground and French hiphop.
By the many strugglings in his life, he always leaned back on his love for the music. Reggaemusic was always a support and a chance for meditation.
When he got older, he realised that the best way to party was on dancehallmusic. That's why he and his girlfriend (Souchke) started "COOLIE RIDDIM". By the passion for the music he started spinning his own tunes and became the resident from CR.
This was the jumpoff for bookings; such as Decadance (Frisky Fridayz), Soulive Club (Dancehallexplosion), Regisseur (Warlord Bday Bash), etc
By making a fresh combination of new riddims with the classics he created his own style.
