Music has always been a grounding and inspirational force in her life. From playing classical piano as a child to playing in the high school jazz band to now DJing and composing/producing electronic music, she has always seen music as a source of stability and comfort and of ultimate creative expression. It is her way of exploring the deeper parts of herself and communicating with others-- it is quite literally her "second language." Drawing inspiration from her classical days, she constructs pieces ranging from powerful dancefloor thumpers with complex melodies and confident basslines to dark and visceral ambient narratives that can invoke visual synesthesia experiences.
