Simon Co-wrote, produced and performed on 5 global multi-platinum albums with Soul II Soul (inc. Grammy award winning songs, Back to Life and African Dance) SIIS recieved a MOBO lifetime achieveme award 2024.
He has produced and cowritten international hits for Chante Moore, Shabba Ranks, Johnny Gill, Maxi Priest, JT Taylor of Kool and the Gang, Joanna Law (his sister) and many others.
Simon Co-produced the late legendary South African reggae superstar Lucky Dube’s Victims album in South Africa - a career highlight.
In Toronto and Canada he plays in the band Jen Schaffer & The Shiners with his partner Jen Schaffer.
He also has worked in the music/dementia field for many years at The Bitove Method (formerly Bitove Wellness Academy) and Toronto Alzheimer’s Society with people living with Dementia 🕊♥️🎶
