TRACKS was set up within my contracted time at The Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) to broaden the coverage of travel and tourism here in EBC 104.7FM by undertaking location recordings and interviews in-country and beyond its borders.Since March 2016 (and before on a separate show) files from Lesotho, Tanzania, India, Djibouti South Africa, the UK and Ethiopia have featured, alongside interviews with tourism professionals working in Ethiopia and in the featured countries. It has been important to podcast files and aim for transparency and accountability, whilst dealing with HUGE and on occasion seemingly unsurmountable challenges to make these programmes, let alone get files out of a tightly controlled system.
