A meditation on things that are very different but very much the same, this is a collection of tracks with the same basic chord progression, done in very different styles - from deep chunky tech house to progressive house to shuffle house to circuit to new trance ["melodic techno"?] to old trance to breaks to tribal house to, finally, some old NRG from the 90's, all played at a slower tempo and overlaid and looped to the point of being mashup-like. The blending of the different styles made for some interesting poly-rhythms throughout, and with their complementary melodic structures, these tracks seem to me to be made for each other...the same, despite huge differences, blending into something much bigger than themselves.
