The Dub Bunnies started in the mid 90's when Bernie & Ginjah started putting on reggae parties in our local pub (The Ship Inn RIP)
The Dub Bunnies Easter Sunday party soon became an annual event, and over the years more of us joined the circle. There are currently a mainstay of 7 DJs, with another 5 or so playing guest sets here and there.
Our beloved pub closed down in 2007. However good things can never die and we continued, using different venues each Easter.
All the DJs in the Dub Bunnies have their own style, and play different genres within the world of reggae, so depending who is playing you may hear; Calypso, Ska, Reggae, Dub, Rocksteady, Ragga, Dancehall, Dubstep even the odd Jungle tune might sneak in occasionally. We play music not just from Jamaica but from all over the world and from any era from the 50's to last week. So all our shows can be very different from each other, but that's the way we like it.
