I went to Wigan casino all-nighter (1974 -1978) also a regular at Blackpool mecca (highland room). I also went to many weekly soul nights in my area. We were very lucky to have quite a selection -no wonder I was always skint:
Tues: Braodway hotel, Morecambe
Wed: No12 club, Lancaster
Thurs: Ibis club, Kendal
Fri: Central Pier, Morecambe
Sat: Wigan casino or Highland room (Blackpool Mecca) or both if I was lucky.

I dropped off the scene fed up with the divisions in 1978 but never lost my love of NS & still on very rare occasions go to Preston Grasshoppper's'monthly soul nights.
