Born and raised on the mean streets of bournemouth, Mr Renegade, AKA Ren Pepper, started his musical journey when Napster would play mixtapes to him while he was in his mother's womb. It was at this moment that Ren Pepper knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'.

He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 1996. In 2003, aged 14, his Mum and Dad bought him his first set of decks. At the age of 17, he was already being touted as bournemouth's answer to Andy C. He did various warm up sets before the doors opened in clubs hosting major names such as Andy C, DJ Hype, Noisia, and many more. In 2008, he achieved his big break when he blagged his way backstage at a Netsky Live gig and tripped over the cord to Boris' keytar right when he was in the middle of playing 'Give & Take'. It was after this point when he started getting gigs at big events such as his bedroom and his mates garden.
