Doctor Bop has been involved in the radio business since 1969 beginning at WHLI in Hempstead, Long Island and then moving on to WCBS-FM Radio in New York City where he became the production director within four months. He and then program director Dick Bozzi were responsible for changing the format from top 40 radio to the Oldies Format that moved the station to number one in the ratings. From CBS-FM, Doctor Bop moved to CKLW-AM Radio in Windsor, Ontario the Canadian powerhouse station. There he was also the Production Director. He has been an oldies consultant for WTWR in Detroit and KBZT in San Diego, California. His love of Oldies and Doo Wops is legendary.
