Born and raised in southern California, Doc grew up in a musical family. As a teenager in the late 90s, he learned sound engineering and mixing while working as a salesperson selling recording studios and DJ equipment. During that time, he became heavily involved in the rave scene, traveling up and down the state attending various events, meeting musicians, and making good friends.
As he entered his 30s, Doc began exploring other music genres and discovered a love for rock and roll. He moved to northern California and began writing music and performing live as a bass player, joining several local rock bands.
Doc presently lives in Oakland, California, serving as the bass player for the Exophonics.
