The journey of DJ Tragedy began at age 9. I’ve always been surrounded by music via my father and Uncle who were DJs. The real spark happened at a best friend’s house where I met his neighbor who was a DJ. He pushed me to do my very first mix ever. The feeling that I got from that never left my body. That’s what started my DJ career and I never looked back. I worked odd jobs to afford to buy records and equipment. By age 12 I started doing house parties and school parties in my town of Montclair, NJ, which quickly expanded to neighboring towns. I was in my first club by age 14 DJing, obviously not being old enough, but that’s where my passion led me. What completely changed everything at Divas Lounge. Linking with DJ Bobby Trends helped take my career to the next level. After that the rest is history. I’ve been doing major clubs for major artists in the Tri-state for 20 plus years. As I continue to grow on this journey, enjoy the ride with me.
