As a young child, I never liked to dance anywhere but in the comfort of my own home. I used to feel awkward going to school dances because I couldn't just enjoy the music. You had to be dancing with someone else to be socially accepted by your peers. But when house music came into my life at the young age of 18, I got to see something completely different. People were just dancing! Whether by themselves or with others, it seemed that no one cared about anything except moving their bodies to the rhythm, to the bass, to the beats. It hit me that music has a crazy power over people that is surely indescribable. In that moment everyone is united as one with a common love for music and dancing. I fell in love with the feeling of being free; Nothing else mattered to me except the music. Since then I have devoted myself, through the power of DJing, to share these feelings of freedom, love and togetherness that dance music has given to me.
