Born and raised in brick city. My hangout was Twin City back in the 80's. Listening to Dj Punch. Do the damn thing Saturday nights. My local club hangout was Zanzibar and damn Dj Punch was there also. As I got older my club spot in NYC was the Tunnel first but the Shelter was the spot I stayed in. I spent most of my time on the dance floor. No drugs in my system but the ladies is what I was jockeying for. I owe a lot of my interest in music was listening to the sounds of Tony Humphries, the late John Robinson, and Shep Pettibone. As you can see I spent my time all up and down the radio dial when I was not out. I just want to say along with all these legendary djs. I would be crazy not to mention the late great Frankie Knuckles along with Larry Levan who I wished i could have been there to see them turn it out . My interest in music was what kept me idle from the crap that was on the streets. To all my friends and family that got trapped by the streets, rest in peace.
