AN INSIGHT INTO THE WORLD OF DJICKEEE Picture this, me back in the year 1984 as a 12 year old with not a care in the world (well some things don’t change!)Twas now that I was to discover the vinyl spinning, tune dropping, beat rocking person within.Unaware of the future ahead, I got my first gig, working as a mobile Djs side-kick, this gave my first taste of the disc jockey lifestyle (packing up wires and carrying heavy boxes!), but in all seriousness this was enough to have me hooked and gagging for more. For 3 yrs I sat and watched whilst Dj Steve wooed youth clubs with those 80’s classics until I got my chance to reveal the vinyl junkie now known commonly to yourselves as Dj Ickeee. Thanks Steve! When he went to get a drink from the bar I was made to talk down that mic and maybe drop a tune or two if I was really lucky! I knew that this could not go on any more, there was only one thing that I could do GET ME A Dj setup I now had the means to fend for myself.
