Lover of Hip Hop culture, I picked DJ'ing as my element to embrace. Started off spinning vinyl on one deck for house parties in my teens. Bought a pair of 1210's 15 years ago and tried my hand at turntablism. Only recently (less than a year) I switched to digital and invested in a mac and serato and 'ish got real! My true passion is Boom Bap, 90's, Golden Era Hip Hop. I grew up listening to Jazz and was fascinated with the chaos of it! There was no rules, freestyles all over the place! So when I first heard The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, EPMD etc I was hooked. The rhythmic poetry was all I needed to transplant me from my rural village in Oxfordshire to Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx!
