Dj Roberto Carlos was born with rhythm in his blood. A native of Puerto Rico, this DJ comes from a close-knit musical family in New Jersey, where they can often be found hosting regular jam sessions in their top of the line in-home studio.

But this master of the turntables career didn’t start off spinning. His sentiment?
“Never trust a DJ who can’t dance”. So at age 11, Roberto began acquiring dance skills from his older brother and his friends, absorbing everything from Bboy-ing to House to the fundamentals of Popping and Locking. By dancing to the music he would eventually fall in love with, Roberto developed his “ear” and keen ability to read a crowd, which sets him apart from most DJs on the scene.

Today, he prides himself on his knowledge of many different genres. And Roberto’s passion for his craft is apparent every second he’s behind the booth.
