SpeedyJay's mission in life is to bring positive vibes to the people
wherever he plays. Born and raised in Western Canada, his musical
roots have been
such as speed garage, deep house, breaks, techno &dnb.
He started his
musical journey in
1998 as Speedy Jay, he was
inspired by and focused solely on the sounds of UK's hard house
scene.
As he transitioned from raves to clubs he shifted to the alias Di
Jason Roy playing deep &tech
inspired
by genres
house, then electro house & breaks.
But as a drum and bass and bass house dj, he has returned to his
roots, as SpeedyJay. From early warehouse parties to club
residencies, to festivals he has one simple plan, to move the crowd.
