started mixing back when they only had turntables no laptop to see bpm or key when we got a record first thing we would do is count the beats for a minute or 30 seconds then we would write the bpm on the middle of the recird you youngsters have no idea how easy you git it cause before drum nachines the real drummers no matter how goidvtyey where the beat would not stay steay in beat so beat matching was tricky but if you couid do that you couid mix anything . i dont miss record crates though ! just found my bro here Juan (jc ) Faxas was taken away by covid miss you and love you bro rest in peace ,he is the one that got me started i use to help him for many years we had some great times and should of had more ,.
