Vayu is the Psychedelic Trance project of Mauro Sousa, musician, producer and dj from Lisbon.
Listening to all kinds of sounds since his early days, Mauro fell in love with the psychedelic scene in 2001, bought a dj kit with his brother and never stopped. In 2003, in search of his own sound and identity, he started producing and trying his own grooves. The need and curiosity opened the way to an endless path filled with experiences, connections and lessons. After various experiments on different musical styles and approaches, including playing in bands, Mauro redefined himself as Vayu, an independent project that brings his musical creations and his djing as well. Meaning first of all a connection with others, the audience, the act itself reflects his vision and his passion for the psychedelic vibes taking you on a journey into sounds and grooves looking for true freedom and natural peace, where fulfillment comes from sharing time and space together, United through Music!
