DJ Storm aka Francesco Mongiovi was born and raised in Palermo, Italy, where he grew up listening to Dance and Hip-Hop music. Since he was a child, music has always been his passion, so naturally he became a DJ. He started his career in the 90’s playing at private parties, shortly after he was called to play at the best clubs of Palermo and Sicily. His style was a mix of Hip-Hop, House and Techno, and he was one among the first to offer Hardcore music in the area. In the early 2000’s he worked in many Italian cities like Rome, Milan and Lucca in Tuscany. DJ Storm now lives in Detroit where he moved in 2015 and now plays also EDM, Trap, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Retro, and Italian music, along with his favorites House and Techno.
