When he bumped into James Brown’s “It’s a Mother”, he discover his own religion: Funk.
Soon he became very fond of black music and started to build his own taste listening to Soul, Funk, R’n’B, Hip hop, Jazz and so on. SOULPUSHA spins records since he was 16 with curiosity and passion, working hard by a lot of clubs in northern Italy up to Ibiza. Due to the huge amount of music inside his head, he starts producing his own stuff, original tunes and some remixes (Jamiroquai, Jovanotti, MNEK).
He signed for the labels Skip Intro Records, Furry Tea Cup Records and Aenaria Recordings, recording some good EPs. Some of his favorite Djs/producers are: Kerry Chandler, Little Louie Vega, Moodyman, Theo Parrish, Kenny “Dope” Gonzales, Black Coffee, Derrick May, Dj Harvey, Volcov.
In his sets he prefer traditional set (no laptop).
