Richard R. was born in Lima, Peru and raised in the Bay Area. Richard R. embarked on his career as a DJ and adopted the pseudonym of ‘DJ Rich Era’. His approach to music is a reflection of the diverse world of today; fast, moving, and fun, which landed him at leading radio stations Wild 94.9 FM (San Francisco, CA), 99.7 NOW FM (San Francisco, CA) and Viva 105.7 FM (La Kalle 105.7 FM) (San Francisco, CA).
Rich Era has been quite successful in terms of social networking and interactive marketing strategy. He has been booked in elite nightclubs throughout major cities in the U.S (San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, and San Diego) and South America (Lima, Peru). He is a signed artist to the Label: Texture Recording (Chicago, IL) and represents clothing line NKD (Nothing Kills Dreams).
