Born on June 19, and was raised in Manchester, Mandeville, Jamaica in a district called Old England. Philkid who’s real name is Philroy Thomas, always had a passion and love for music but didn’t pursue it until 2006, where he first djed in the district where he was born and raised. His influences are Tony Matterhorn, Stone love, Bass Odyssey, Fire links, Black Chiney and Black Kat all Sounds from Jamaica. He moved to Ottawa Canada in June 2008, where he continued his Dj career playing at dancehall parties and clubs. He has matured a lot in the Dj world and has proven to a lot of promoters that he is very talented and professional at what he does. He is regarded as one of the best upcoming Dj which has taken over quickly in Ottawa and has already played in Montreal and Sudbury.
