Since he released his first demo in 2003 on Alahuna.net Dj Murdok has represented change, innovation and irreverence in electronic music. With a strong techstep influence, Murdok was hailed as a key spokesperson of the “double drop school of thought” – bringing syncopated funk and groove to the expected 4/4 thump of electronic club sounds of the day.
“The whole reason I was excited about drum and bass was the fact that it had brought diversity to club music,” Murdok says. As a result, Dj Murdok created the multidimensional sound he is known for today.
