Why limit yourself to one genre when there is a whole world of great dance music avaiable. As a Dj having the knowlage of many genres gives you the ability to play the right music at the right moment (if you have the ability to read the audience's vibe corectly) or as a resident Dj follow your instructions and open for the guest Dj building up to the DJ's set NOT overpowering it(know when to ignore your pride because pride is not always a good thing).
