Ma started her career as a DJ at the age of 17 playing in queer clubs in Brazil. She was the resident DJ at Casa do Lado Nightclub and played in various clubs in her hometown.
In the past, Ma's style focused on Electropop, but since moving to New York she has been exploring Afrobeats, Latin pop, and Brazilian funk.
As a musician, Ma continues to write pop songs and uplift queer culture. She has released four singles, including "Black Money" and "I Want Ur Luv", produced by Oscar-nominated and Grammy award-winning producer Bob Brockmann.
