Taking salsa lessons developed a strong interest in its history and diverse sub-genres. From there on, it was only a small step to start spinning. First at the studio where I took my lessons, and since late 2015 at parties outside my hometown of Breda.
I was brought up on Classical and Jazz music. During my teenage years, my musical discoveries lead me through Punk and New Wave, back to Funk and Soul. Nowadays, Jazz and Funk are of strong influence on my spinning. I love to 'spin outside the box'. My ambition is to someday spin at O'Sullivans in Paris.
