BIO: Selwyn Dowridge aka Mr Frisko was born in the UK. At a young age I migrated to the island of Trinidad and Tobago where, I grew a love for Soca Reggea Steelpan and ofcourse Carnival. Years past and djs were breaking through my favourite were Papa Rocky Star Child Dr Hyde Chinese Laundry, just to name a few which infulanced me more to persue the art of the MIX n BLEND. Years later I moved back to the UK were this opened my mind and doors to a new age of BEATS. Jungle Speed Garage House and many more. That new sound lend me to a whole new level of mixes. In 2000 I perfomed for the first time on the streets of Nottinghill and to date I still do. Every year the Carnival gets bigger and better and I am always greatful to be a part of the culture I was born in. For me the joy I get out of playing music, is I have fun. And the crowds I play for have more fun and thats what its about. Music is fun so have fun lol.
