DJ D-Sil always had a big passion for music, being influenced by his older cousin, sending him old hiphop and house tapes.
From 1990 onwards DJ D-Sil started collecting vinyl and playing tunes on small parties.
His main obsession was about the harder music styles of the early nineties, mainly hardcore/gabber, rave, breakbeat and acid.
In 1994 he started producing hardcore and breakbeat with Fasttracker. A few years later his obsession with synths started.
From 1999 onwards he started DJing on the next level. In the south of the Netherlands he was a resident DJ on Groovability DnB parties
and he started his own soundsystem "Zeeuws Meisje", giving illegal parties on various locations.

At his moment he mixes and produces various kinds of music, ranging from IDM & Acid to Triphop, from DnB to Ambient, depending on his mood.
His favorite producers and Dj's are: Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Mr Oizo, Technical Itch, Noisia, Evol Intent, Portishead, Massive Attack, Future sounds of London
