Rodrigo Minari aka DJ Chikane started his career back in 2003, mixing vinyl at such parties like Sublow, Underbeat and Get Punk in Buenos Aires. Progressing further to become resident DJ at Dinastia, Kona De Ramos Mejia and picking up Middawn Special Nights at the classic Pinar De Rocha. His ever growing popularity and influence amongst the local scene has seen him collaborate with reggae, electronic and hip hop musical projects and he is currently working on his first production. He is best known for giving his party goers the pleasure of all things groovy, taking influence from 70s funk, Hip Hop, Acid Jazz and Techno. Chikane’s sessions can start with angelic gospel choirs and finish with a furious bass line.
