Starting in 1999 at age 16, Zak diligently rose through the ranks of the underground at a time when foreigners DJs and promoters were very few in Vietnam and Asia in general back in 2001. In just a few years, his skills and growing reputation had already landed him numerous residencies in Hanoi, as well as a steady flow of multi-national bookings.
Throughout his career, Zak has regularly toured in many cities throughout Algeria, France, Thailand, Vietnam, Russia ,,, and many more.
Besides his worldwide escapades, Zak has promoted many club nights in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok over the years, his Weapon of Choice monthly featuring the best in local talent alongside internationally known talent including DJ Deekline, Bass Kleph, The Autobots, Splitloop, General Midi, Lady Waks, Ali B, Ed Solo, Keith Mackenzie, Worthy, Reid Speed, Carbon Community and more.
