For Generation Next, a career in music was inevitable. The son of Detroit legend Big Strick, he grew up in a home where Jazz, Disco, House & Techno reigned supreme. Inspired by Hip-Hop and R&B as much as he is the music of Amp Fiddler & Kenny Dixon Jr, he’s enjoyed an upbringing like few others in modern Detroit. While his influences span both near and far, Generation Next has a sound that’s very much his own – one he’s been busy cultivating for quite some time. GN is also a DJ of some repute and has already shared the decks with the likes of Omar S and more. For Generation Next, music is very much a family affair. Don’t be surprised to see him on a line up near you very soon.
