Sam Talwalkar grew up immersed in the disco and house sounds of the 80s and 90s - experienced on vinyl, where even the crackle between tracks carried meaning.

While building a film career, he quietly nurtured a parallel instinct: the art of digging. Across years of travel and cultural exploration, he continued to collect sounds, influences, and moments - never as a performer, but as a keen listener with intent.

Now in his 40s and based in Bangalore, that instinct has found expression. Sam began shaping his years of listening into something more deliberate - refining not just what he plays, but how and why he plays it.
