My name is Stuart and I grew up in the 90's Ottawa rave scene. I discovered Acid Trance, Techno, Breaks, and Jungle music in 94' and fell in love. Started going to raves end of 95 and by 97 was running sound and lights for a magority of the shows as well as the occasional dj booking. My mixing is known for mixes in the 2-4 min range pushing limits. About 80% freestyle never tried mixing before and 20% been done before relyable mixes with the odd turntablizm trick. My passion for outdoor events brought me to many harvest festivals in southern Ontario in Hastings, Bancroft, and Burk's Falls. Now settled in Thunder Bay, ON.... DiscoStu has been responsible for the Random Acts of Music 2012 season with Weekly shows that were held every Sunday all summer, and the rebranded Positive Ground Sound Crew shows going since 2023.
