Jim was born in Thessaloniki in 1981. While his first music influences came early, at the age of 12, from artists like Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, R.E.M. and many more from the 80’s and the 90’s, his initial Electronic Music influences (House & Progressive House) came in the late 90’s. Those influences were mostly driven by Safari FM 107.1, the keystone radio station for House Music in Greece, and also by DJ Records Store, the record store that literally “forged” the path to the Dance Stage in Thessaloniki and became the “source” for Jim’s first vinyl records (Bedrock, Junior, Plastic Fantastic, Hooj Choons, Low Pressing, Nrk, 2020 Vision and many other labels).Soundtrip is a web radio based in Thessaloniki and playing Minimal,Dub Techno,Deep&Tech House,Progressive House
