I guess I would describe myself as a self taught, novice producer of music. I love to spend all day listening to music and putting tunes together into mixes!
I am not one to listen to mainstream tracks as I find them somewhat tedious, however I do like the occational remix of them E.g Salute- little mix (Anakyn Remix).
I am a HUGE fan of Dance music! (in most forms)
If a track has a really strong melody accompanied by outstanding vocals, I love it :)
I do not enjoy tracks such as Animals - Martin Garrix, as the drops leave a lot to be desired. There are however a few artists that spring to mind that produce a good drop to the contrary such as Dada life.

3LUA (her voice is awesome!)
Nicky Romero (I am a big fan of his remixes more then his own tracks)
Tiésto (greatest DJ in the world. why wouldn't i like him? his remixes are beast!)
