I started the DJ thing back in 1996 at the age of 16. At first my only audience were the neighbours and a wild dog but after a while I was playing at parties and absolutely loving it. Filling a dancefloor is the best feeling there is. As I grew older I had less time to spend on music and I had to stop DJing because my parents wanted me to get "a real job". As the years flew by and I grew older the need to do my thing with music kept on showing it's pretty head. At a convention for the music industry I visited I couldn't take it any longer and bought myself some studio monitors and a DJ controller. Now at the age of 33 I'm practicing like crazy, enjoying not having to haul those huge cases full of vinyl records and having a blast while playing and I probably will do so until the end of my days :).
