Palesa Desiree Shilabje, simply known as Desiree, is
a born and bred Joburger who started listening to
house music from just 10 years old.

Her love for the genre grew while modelling,
walking the likes of SA Fashion Week, and the
electronic sounds of Thom Yorke, Bonobo and Gui
Boratto often played on runways. Having started
DJing earlier this year, her mixes bring together
electronic sounds, Afro house and techno by the likes of
PALMFooD, Da Capo, 104Bbp, Guy Mantzur, Jonathan
Kaspar and Sobek.

Her debut EP with the talented and multi-faceted producer Massh will be released in 2020.
