Dacato

Hi, my name is Dennis or dj name Dacato. I live in the Netherlands.
Started listen to house and trance very young age and started DJing in 2002.

First techno, later more minimal and house.
Mid zero's I received more gigs.

In 2008 I had won a DJ contest with over 180 other contesters.
This resulted in some really nice gigs in Holland and played at some nice venues and festivals in Holland.
After 2012 I was in a more serious life with a family and kids which resulted in less time for music and DJ'ing.
In 2020 picked up my hobby again .
Nowadays I'm playing more house-techhouse sets, but also sometimes disco, electro will pass by.

UPDATE 2026 : Because the love of Techno is still there and I had the feeling and need to mix darker trakcks but something that doesn't completely fit in my Dacato sound, I've created a alter ego : Dennis YoungLess for the more Techno related material. Expect percussive, deep driven techno with Detroit influence.
