DJ After School Special
Mark D Martin, also known as After School Special (and occasionally "Clash Gordon"), is an open format style DJ from San Antonio, Texas. After School Special is an avid record collector that enjoys sharing his love of music with anyone who will listen. He began spinning Soul and Old School Hip Hop and Yacht Rock at various spots around Austin in 2011, and now enjoys playing vinyl records from his personal collection that spans an impressively wide range of genres like Yacht Rock, Exotica, Country, and everything in between. He also works with Serato and digital platforms, but prefers the analog sound of his classic Technic 1200MK5 turntables. He is best known for his "Yacht Rock" brunches as resident DJ on Sunday afternoons and Tiki Tuesdays with Bettie Page Rum every second Tuesday of the month at the World Famous Golden Tiki Las Vegas. After School Special likes setting a chill, relaxing vibe to set the mood for any morning, afternoon or evening.
