Breaking into the industry on the back of his 1999 remix of Bob Marley’s ‘Sun Is Shining’, FUNKSTAR DE LUXE has proved himself to be a consistent and high-quality producer and remixer with great ability. Since his breakthrough Danish-born Martin Ottesen has worked with and for numerous big names in the industry, e.g. Bob Dylan, James Brown, Peter Gabriel, Mary J Blige, Grace Jones, Manfred Mann, Kim Wilde and Kym Sims. As FUNKSTAR DE LUXE he has released +20 charting singles and he has won numerous awards including a World Music Award.
