Defect X is a young dj & producer from Zurich.
Already in his early age he knew that he was different from the other kids as he’s suffering from a muscular disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. At the age of 6 he couldn’t walk anymore and ended up in a wheelchair. But that has never stopped him chasing his dream to become a dj and a producer.

Music was his inspiration to keep going and his disability became a mindset to do things different. the emptied experience of moving through the world in a wheelchair shaped his music-making in variety of ways, creating a sense of smooth motion through time, with more focus on long-range goals and possibly greater attention to detail from a near the ground perspective.

Where there is a will, there is a way. True passion overcomes any obstacles. So in that spirit, just let the music speak!
