Deaf by Disco will not actually make you lose your hearing through dance music, rather the duo, Jess Hughes and Nick Wakefield, show off their love for disco, techno and house with eclectic mixes that they started putting together for their own listening pleasure.
After securing a regular club night under the same name in picturesque North Wales back in 2010, they found themselves playing at various parties and club nights across Leeds, Manchester, London and even Austria.
Following their move to London, Nick and Jess have continued to push themselves. Regular sets in clubs including XOYO and The Nest have seen them warming up for heroes such as Justin Robertson and Greg Wilson, as well playing for formidable party providers like the mighty Bugged Out!
Since then they have rifled up the popularity charts making festival appearances at Bestival (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015) and Field Maneuvers (2013, 2014) taking their well thought out sets to memorable festival backdrops.
