I’ve been doing this since 77 my uncle Aundrea had a club in D.C. shoutout to the Clubhouse (IYKYK) where i got to hang out and listen to all the Dj’s (shoutout to Tito and Mandrill) the booths East & West watching and learning . back then all vinyl and no crossfader. Bozak and Urei rotary mixers and Technics 1200 MK2 were the club standard. and long form blends thats how I learned. however, I embrace new tech and enjoy the creativity that it can spark.. I’ve played professionally at small clubs and bars in NYC , Philly, DC, Albany, Reading, and Frederick Md …..definitely not famous you may have heard some drivetime or lunch break ghost mixes from me … i love music i listen to a funky pastiche and I play an eclectic mix of eras and genres jazz, blues , bmore, house, jersey, country dubstep ,indie, soul, hiphop, rock, latin, moombahton, funk and whatever moves me and the crowd.
