Daz Wilkes is the new LME DJ, he is a stalwart stretching all the way back to the 80s from the hip hop scene. He was famed for his Danny Tenaglia style 8hr sets at his residency at the legendary Nimmo’s (Niche) - Sheffield. With regular sets also at all the notable Sheffield clubs - Capitol, Plug, Occasions and so on, starring on a stellar line-up at Club UK - London and playing the mighty BCM – Majorca, Daz has earned his stripes. He was always on LME’s radar as our paths crossed regularly. Daz played sets that quite easily could have been mistaken for LME sets, this was noted by LME and Daz has now become a fully-fledged LME member. DJing for 35yrs, Daz’s pedigree and our shared musical taste has made him a natural choice to join the LME team and make a seamless transition in to the next stage of his and LME’s DJing journey - taking the 90s sound in to the future.
