Calgary, Canada

Dawkter started in electronic music early, with a radio, listening to local independent radio station CJSW 90.9 FM, whose deejays offered house, techno, drum & bass, and hardcore on Friday nights. He became a voracious collector of music, enjoyed the rave scene and was eager to start contributing, beginning in the early 90s. At 16, Dawkter started making mix tapes for parties. That quickly grew into deejaying bigger events in and around Calgary AB.

Positivity in electronic music is a theme throughout Dawkter's work and he is eager to spread the message, playing for fans on regular nights in clubs around Calgary, and at larger events. In his music and his message he gives thanks for the deejays and music lovers who have guided him to be the musician he has become. In his words “I got a lot of my culture from the Calgary rave scene.”.
