I have been a music fan since seeing the Beatles play “Please, Please Me” on Kid’s Showtime in late 1962. Fast forward to 2018 and after a rewarding career in market research which amongst other things took me all around the world, I decided to go back to the bottom of the class and pursue a lifelong passion.

Long story short, after passing the audition, I commenced a degree in Music at the JMC Academy, the prestigious creative arts university in Sydney. In April 2021, with my fellow classmates (all approximately one third my age), I graduated with a Bachelor of Music, specialising in Songwriting. I now have a regular show on Radio Northern Beaches presenting Songwriters of the 20th Century.

Featuring a new artist each week, the show covers everything from Gershwin and Berlin, through Lieber & Stoller, and Holland, Dozier, Holland, Lennon & McCartney to Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen.
