Way way back..when men were men and perms were essential, Dave Grogan, a thrusting young hospital orderly met Barry Peters in a chance union that would change the face of tiny pub gigs in the north of england forever. Barry Peters was making a name for himself on Halifax Hospital radio, he was quite literally going places and needed a lift one evening. Spotting young Dave across the hospital car park he asked for a ride..the rest, as they say, is history.
They travelled the length and breadth of Yorkshire thrilling audiences with their musical daring cutting edge wardrobe.
Barry would often go out into the crowd, leaving Dave to man the 1’s and 2’s and he simply fell in love.
After 25 years of non-stop party nonsense these two have had to part company (For legal reasons, I cant go into).
Dave continues to spin 'straw' into gold, putting on blistering nights at working mens clubs up and down the country.
